Wong Chau Tung is the Honorable Chairman of Chinese ink Painting Institute Hong Kong, consultant of Hong Kong Artists Association, research fellow of the Cityscape Ink Institute of China National Academy of Painting, member of Chinese Artists Association, a visiting artist of Shenzhen Fine Art Institute. Since 1980s, Wong was advanced his art practice in ink cityscape, and won numerous prizes from his realm cityscape artworks: National Exhibition of Arts in China Award in the 9session, 10session, 11session, 12session and 13session, Hong Kong Contemporary Art Biennial Award in 2010 and 2012, Beijing Biennale Award in 2015 and 2017. He is one of the selection committee of Ink Global 2017. Artwork ‘Pearl in the Silk Road of Sea’ was collected by China Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2017, ‘Glamorous View Under the Peak’ was published in Art Magazine in 2014, and ‘China Pearl City’ in 2019.
