Shen is currently the member of China Artists Association, consultant of the Hong Kong Artists Association, chairman of Hong Kong Watercolor Research Society, consultant of Chinese Ink Painting Institute Hong Kong, committee member of Hong Kong Art Development Council and Consultant of Hong Kong Cultural Association Limited. Lecturer of HKUSPACE and Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre. He is a prolific and versatile artist. Over years, his works have been collected by National Art Museum of China, Hong Kong Art Museum, Hong Kong Heritage Museum, The University of Hong Kong Museum, Philippe Charriol Foundation, Asia Watercolor Museum of China, Quanhua Art Museum Shanghai and Sun Hung Kei Properties Limited.
